What To Expect During Treatment

Lip Fillers vs. Lip Flip: What’s the Difference?

Lip fillers add volume to the lips using injectable dermal fillers, while a lip flip uses BOTOX® to enhance the upper lip’s appearance by relaxing the muscle above it.

With a lip flip, the change is subtle and strategic. Instead of increasing overall lip size, a lip flip allows the upper lip to “flip” slightly upward and appear fuller. It can be a useful option for patients who want refinement rather than fullness or who want to treat a “gummy smile.”
